Every BBQ joint has a story. Ours starts with a nickname (Lil Rick), a brother, and a love of good food that never faded.

Where the Name Comes From

It belongs to Lil Rick — a brother, a friend, and someone who loved BBQ the kind that takes all day, pulls people in with the smell of smoke, and brings them together. That’s the spirit Marc and Josh set out to keep alive — doing right by something he loved: fire up the smoker, make BBQ worth gathering for, and put everything they’ve got into getting it right

Built in His Honour

A few years ago, Lil Rick’s life was cut short, leaving behind a wife and kids. Marc Mathon and Josh Ricker started this business in his memory — a way to keep his name alive and do right by something he loved. Every rack of ribs, every slice of brisket, every plate that leaves this smoker carries that with it.
